Experience the wild caught lake fish from net to plate. With our new experience boat you get a wonderful trip on Bolmen with its lake archipelago. You will learn about small-scale fish farming, sustainable commercial fishing. A few fishing anecdotes and why Bolmen has 365 islands.
We cast off, and leave the jetty at 8 and chug past the fish farm and feed the rainbow trout.
Then we have a hearty breakfast ourselves before heading for the fishing traps to watch the watch the fishermen empty them from the front row. Maybe the osprey will join us?
Evenings are best spent with a delicious fish dinner and appropriate drinks after a nice evening swim.

Fish fondue on Valentine's Day
Welcome to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the most wintry and pleasant of ways. With a warming fondue evening.
Check into fresh rooms in the afternoon and head out into nature for a walk. Hiking trails and paths are marked in the village and on Tiraholm for pleasant afternoon walks.
Our wood-fired sauna is lit between 15 & 18.
At 6 pm you are welcome to sit down in our rustic and atmospheric restaurant where we serve a unique fish fondue with three different broths and several different types of fish. There will of course be both appetizer, dessert and suitable accessories.

Wilderness guide and survival expert Juha Rankinen takes you on an educational experience in nature. You pick edible plants for dinner. At the campsite you will try different fire-making techniques. Under Juha’s guidance, you will prepare the crops you have collected together with other local ingredients from the lake and the forest. Towards dusk, enjoy your home-cooked 3-course dinner and relax by the fire.
Casual clothing is recommended.
