Mit seinen 185 km2 ist der Bolmen der zw\u00f6lftgr\u00f6\u00dfte See Schwedens und liegt in den drei Bezirken Kronoberg, J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping und Halland. Es gibt eine gro\u00dfe Vielfalt an V\u00f6geln und Fischen, wie Aale, Zander, Hechte und Barsche. <\/p>

Das Wasser ist von hoher Qualit\u00e4t und hat einen pH-Wert zwischen 6,7 und 6,8. Es gibt einen Wassertunnel hinunter nach Sk\u00e5ne, wo das Wasser des Bolmen als Trinkwasser verwendet wird. <\/span><\/p>

Anfang der 1990er Jahre wurde der Angelverein Bolmen gegr\u00fcndet, der sich unter anderem um den Verkauf von Angelscheinen k\u00fcmmert, die an vielen Orten rund um den See, darunter auch in Tiraholm, erworben werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/span><\/p>
